Newspaper
Published earlier this year, SuperYacht Times is proud to be celebrating 50 issues of the SuperYacht Times newspaper. This special edition is our largest publication to date, with a look back at some of the most engaging stories published since the newspaper began 10 years ago. We sat down with Director and Founder Merijn de Waard, to find out more about the history behind the industry's most up-to-date and quarterly news publication. Why did you initially decide to launch a publication in the newspaper format back in 2014? Onboard
New images of the 49.9-metre Columbus Custom Hybrid superyacht Anjelif have been unveiled, providing a closer look at the recently delivered vessel. Columbus Yachts built upon their previous Sport Hybrid 40m project, which was the first superyacht model ever to be RINA classified with the “Hybrid Propulsion Y” notation, in order to execute the hybrid construction of this 50-metre Custom Hybrid range. Architect Marco Casali of Too-Design is responsible for crafting Anjelif’s exteriors, in collaboration with her owner, while the vessel’s naval architecture was crafted in-house by the shipyard, in collaboration with Hydro Tec. Composed entirely of aluminium, Anjelif displays a sleek yet muscular exterior profile encapsulating distinguished, personal interiors. She was tailor-made for a knowledgeable owner, Maria Francesca Angelini, who requested that Anejlif be decked out in technological innovations, such as the diesel-electric hybrid propulsion. As per her owner’s wishes, Anjelif sports two modern technological devices: one of which uses cold plasma for sanitation
