The yacht has been anchored here since March 2022, following her detention in British waters by the UK Transport Secretary on 13 March, who identified her as potentially Russian-owned. The yacht's owner has contested the arrest, emphasising that he is not listed on the sanctioned registers of the UK, EU, or USA.
